Looks like we have the answer to what most of you have been waiting for. Raiden Fader has officially announced that Friday, July 1st (9am PST) will be the pre-order date. Retailing at $129.99 USD, complete with all the previous mentioned bells and whistles, we’re sure you wouldn’t have to upgrade for a while. As for those who are new to the market, this will be a perfect jump off pocket fader… a fully loaded pocket fader that I may add… make sure to set your clocks for this.
Raiden has also released a new video of the RXI-F1 in action, featuring the homie Rayted-R (Battlestar Massive), mounted onto a Numark PT-01.
- RXI-F1 larger size compared to VVT-MK1 does not affect placing / mounting to the PT-o1.
- Body size ( wider base) seems to help with better with stabilization.
- Wiring is not in the way of wrist (for those who scratch with hand flushed to the fader).
Release notes from Raiden Fader after the jump:
Our RXI-F1 portable fader takes portable scratching to the next level. This model features an Innofader mini, a contactless cross fader rated at 4 million cycles! We give the DJ the ability to tailor this device to any scratching style. On board is a calibration button that gives you access to 3 curve settings, fader reverse option, and precision 0.15mm cut in adjustment for each side!
Along with these features comes durability, in its full aluminum body, with sleek screw less faceplate for unobstructed scratching. We designed the aesthetics of this device as minimal and sleek as possible.
This fader is meant to widen the possibilities of portable scratching with its 2 channel design, allowing for even more setup configurations.
Easy plug and play with the faders 3.5 mm jacks. Charging the internal rechargaeble lithium ion battery is done through the micro usb jack on the device. 1.5 hrs charging, gives 10+ hrs playtime.
